Condi Rice is headed to the Middle East on a diplomatic mission at the same time the administration is scurrying to send more bombs to Israel. Why bother? Do they think Hezbollah won't notice?

Better to ask the question. Where did Hezbollah get all those rockets? (ans Syria and/or Iran)

Without US support of Israel there would not be a need for diplomacy. There would be no Israel. We're just evening up the odds.

By the way, Hezbollah is not a government or nation. It would be like the Libertarians declaring war on Mexico because they got a case of Montezuma's revenge from eating a bad burrito. (Yea, I know that Libertarians just want to be left alone.)

This is a positve sign, more bombs less Hezbolla the diplomatic response should be to change the Status Quo to contain parties who have a Negotiating position. Hezbolla does not represent Lebanon, they represent Iran and Syria. This is proven by the residency in Qom by the family of the Hezbolla leader. His party is a minority party with Money, Like the Democrat party here who undermine the legitimate government at every turn. I hope Israel gets a MOAB or a Daisy Cutter in order to return the Surprise offered by Hezbolla

Because Israel needs weapons and we need to supply them to insure their preserverance. Israel is the last foothold of the west in the middle east, once we lose that, we lose any negotiations with the middle east. And about Rice and diplomacy, yes she's going to go and try to persuade the to cease fire but thats obviously not going to happen. Me and my brother thought it was funny sending a woman to negotiate in the middle east, because of their ethnic backrounds. But i'm rooting for Israel in this conflict. All the **** they put up with is finally being dealt a small hand of vengeance. I'm not a dove and I'm not a hawk, but merely an amused citizen watching a nation dictate and judge a part of the world they hardly a worthy even mentioning in the same breath as home.

sparkling Truck makes a large aspect. first of all they're free to bypass, it isn't a penal complicated Camp, second of all Israel does block some elements, yet it really is what you call "Sanctions", and international locations do this throughout the time of order to get dumb *** international places to resign appearing Imbecilic. Israel easily provides you Palestine with nutrition and clinical help. So people favor to resign making Israel look like the Nazis of W.W.II. Palestinian people took it upon themselves to pick a international huge acknowledged Terrorist team into Political ability. they could face as a lot as Hamas and say, sorry we made the incorrect determination now go away. yet they don't do this , and proceed to allow Hamas act cowardly and as terrorists. Does that advise that the Palestinians are as undesirable as Hamas, hell no it would not. even if it also signifies that Israel isn't the great undesirable bully right here. they're in basic terms attempting to positioned an end to a Terrorist team that on a daily basis demands the lack of life of each Jew, and to take lower back the land Israel is on. carry out a touch of your own analyze people rather of listening to professional Terrorist Propaganda!

Well, you do have a point, if it's true. I am a hawk, but I don't believe any country should be selling or giving any weapons or war machines to any other country. It's just stupid. If a country wants to start a war, they should make their own crap and not get other people involved in their problems. I should point out that Iran is supplying most of the funding & weapons to Hezbollah. I do support Israel's war on terror, and I support the Iraq war as well.

You're assuming that the diplomatic goal is peace in the region. It's not only possible but probable that the diplomatic goals are prioritized as follows:

1. Remove actual and potential terrorist threats such as Hezbollah
2. Help Israel defend themselves as a strong, non-terrorist ally in the region
3. Develop peaceful countries through carrot and stick approach

Hezbollah doesn't understand anything but bombs. They have to be destroyed or they will continue to attack the democracies of the world. Israel is doing what the US should be doing.

To ensure that "American" democracy prevails in yet another country.
All of you who talk of terrorism check out your facts straight because the biggest terrorist in the world is Bush and his new conservatives. Well the US in general.
You have to stop all your hypocrisy and just say: "We hate Arabs. We are owned by Israel. We are the strongest. F$ck the world"
Please stop using words you don't understand like "Peace", "Democracy" and "Terrorism".
Israel is the most racist country in your own American definition of the word. None of you cares so drop the act and say it as it is.
You want Arabs to die. It will never happen but feel free to say it ;)
