I'm sorry to say, you're probably not going to save that mouse and you're just prolonging it's agony. The chances that it has a broken leg and no internal injuries after being chewed by a dog are pretty slim.
You have three choices. Take it to a vet, return it to the wild (and let nature take it's course) or kill it.
Personally, I couldn't afford the first to save a mouse. I couldn't do the third. So I would end up doing the second.

hi hun. ok, if you think the leg is broken, take a good look at it. if the bone is poking through the skin, he doesnt have much of a chance, though if you really want to help it, you can take it to the vet, and theyll amputate the part thats through the skin, and it could have a very normal life if youre willing to keep it as a pet. if the bone is not through the skin, then it has a very good chance. you need to get a hold of it and wrap carefully that part you think is dangling with medical tape. (the clear kind, it doesnt stick to hair.) mice are herbavores, and food for them is very cheap, ive rescued many small rodents, and i dont think you should have too much trouble with it. put a rag in the bottom of the bucket to make it comfortable and give it something to step on so its not slipping around, put water in a very shallow dish, and any kind of small nuts and seeds you have around til you can buy mouse food. (sold at pet stores as rat food for about $2) if you check the water lvl tomorrow and it hasnt changed, then you need to do something about dehydration. go buy a small bottle of childrens pedialyte, catch the mouse and gently wrap it in a towel, feed it about a table spoon with a dropper or syringe by sqeezing it drop by drop into the side of its mouth. however, if it wont eat food, dont force it, it might have internal bruising. (if it had internal injuries that were serious, it will die within a few hours.) if you have any other questions, let me know, ive rescued all sorts of birds and mice, even those with broken legs, and id say if the bone isnt through the skin you have a 75% chance of it living. if the bone is through the skin, you can either take it to the vet, or keep it fed and watered til the leg dies and falls off, mice are actually very hardy creatures, i wouldnt be terribly surprised if it lived on its own with no intervention. (i did find one mouse missing a leg, so i know its possible, just keep the bottom of the bucket or cage as clean as you can to avoid infection. good luck, and thank you for caring! mail me anytime, im always online, and will answer any questions you have.

sorry, but that mouse is scared out of its mind. 1st it nearly gets eaten, then you, the big scary human, keeps buzzing around it. i think you should just let it go, maybe put some food outside for it, but there's nothing you can really do. you could find an exotic vet too, i guess, and take the mouse there, but i don't think that'll do much good. if the mouse isn't eating then he's probably not doing so well, and it might already be too late.

get a eye dropper and put water in it to keep him hydrated. You can even try giving the mouse baby food. Also you should try to take it to a vet.
