I am having a IUI this month with no drugs and my donor has twins on this side of the family. I was wondering if this will effect my chances of having twins?

Identical twins are a fluke. Fraternal twins can be inherited but only on the mother's side (you inherit an increased tendency to ovulate more than once per cycle.)

if you are having the procedure done to have kids you can still have twins or more with out having a history of twins on either side

According to my OBGYN, twins come from the mother's side of the family.

the father determines the sex of the child although if he is not a twin they usually appear every second generation so u have a 55-55 chance good luck
