can a person live without an immune system? is there anything I can do to stop the deterioration? any helpful suggestions please? has my life come to an end?

i have an autoimmune disease sjogrens syndrome which means my immune system is destroying my saliva glands. I dont have aids.

That you will be UNABLE TO FIGHT INFECTIONS OFF. NO there is nothing you can do to stop it either. You need to BE SAFE AND PROTECT YOURSELF FROM SICK PEOPLE.

do you have AIDS? a person cannot live without an immune system. he might live but he will die sooner or later because he will be susceptible to all kinds of diseases. even the common cold or flu can be fatal. there are medicines that can help. ask your doctor.

deterioating means it's stopped working, or it's starting to not work as well as it once did.
you need an immune system, it kills viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens that could make you sick. without an immune system you could die of infection.
although i've heard of people living in sterile plastic bubbles, where there are no germs. seriously.
also you can take vitamins they can help boost your immune system.
