Spider - 8 legs & not an insect.

By the way both ants and termites do have wings. Only certain indivuduals for specific periods of their mating cycles.

Butterfly: It can fly!
Spider: Way too antisocial compared to the others.
Ant: Does not posess the ability to create building materials (only digs)
Termite: Blind

So, as you can see, none of them belong!

Spiders are not technically an insect while all od the others are.

Spiders and insects and millipedes and centipedes and other bugs belong in a subcategory together, for the same reason that dolphins and whales belong together with fish and seahorses and other marine creatures.

Ant - because its the only one with a 1 syllable name or the only 1 that starts with a vowel

Butterfly - because its the only one with wings or ots the only 1 where i could only think of 1 reason for it being the odd one out lol

Spider - only 1 with 8 legs or its the only one with an odd number of letters

Termite - because its the only one that builds giant mounds or the only one that ends in a vowel

Butterfly ==> the only creature from the group that has wings & fly. It goes thru three stages before transforming into butterfly too....
