5. he just wanted to touch that thing, to be sure it's real. (she's got a stylist, and visagist and whatever ...ist, and looks like that... imagine how she was before... i know it, and cant sleep at night)
4. St.Petersburg... had recently white nights... celebration... alcohol... I guess they filled Bush up, and told him that his chick is there...waiting. Putin&Co where probably laughing in the corner, while the picture was shoot.

Because some of us don't look for hidden agenda in every move Pres. Bush makes. He was in front of a myriad of dignitaries, on camera, where is the hidden motive? They are two world leaders who get along and he obviously felt comfortable with her - like a good friend.

To answer your question, he probably did it subconsiously. I mean, he does it to Condi and probably Cheney, maybe it's habit for him to massage (among other things) people he works with.

Because he subconsciously demeans her as a woman leader. He certainly wouldn't do that to any of the male leaders. I don't think he did it on purpose, but, deep down, he doesn't see women as leaders.
