The term black hole is not actually a hole.
A black hole is a star that has collapsed to the point wherein the gravity of the exceptionally Small object is so great that nothing escapes the pull, not even light. So nothing passes 'through' a black hole as it is an actual object..
Some theorists suggest that the matter absorbed by a black hole (light is theorized to be made up of particles) is spewed from the poles of the black hole. IF that is the case, the answer would be yes.

Only particles with extremely high energy can escape black holes. It is a question of energy; speed and mass is irrelevant if the energy is sufficient. High-energy photons can escape a black hole, but after doing so, much of their energy (frequency) is lost.
