I have noticed when my wife shaves in her regions that she sometimes gets razor burn bumps and she complains about itchiness. Any tips would be greatly appreciated and definately worth 10 points.
Thanks.

Use a nicer razor such as the Venus or a nicer mens razor with like 4 blades on it. Instead of regular shaving cream use a new shaving lotion specifically made for sensitive skin. And always always always use a new razor head. Try rubbing a little vitamin E oil on the shaved area afterwards as well.

tendskin works well for ingrown hairs, which are what itches. it has salicylic acid which breaks down the ingrown and makes it come out. you can get it at sephora but its not cheap (25 usd). the skin there is sensitive, some people get a rash more than others. but with regular shaving, it gets less and less easily irritated. the bikini zone gels and that kind of thing work for the immediate itching symptoms, but the ugly red ingrowns will still be there. tendskin was the only thing i found to work for me. also maybe an electric shaver, but it doesn't cut nearly as close unless you go for the seiko cleancut which is also expensive (40-50 usd).

most people shave with just soap, if she does try to shave with shaving cream. another way that I could think of is to change your procedure a little bit, she can get a brazilian wax, and that lasts for about 2-3 weeks I believe, money wise may be a little more expencive, but I haven't heard any complaints about it. Then again, there's nair, but the smell is not pleasing and I'm not sure if you can use it for the regions.

Well you need to make sure she uses a shaving cream or something similar down there. Also be very gentle or try a type of wax if nothing works.

The only thing I have found that works for me, is waxing.
It's very painful in the beginning, but worth the results.
Be sure to keep the skin as tight as possible, it will reduce the pain.
Good Luck.

try using a hair removal creme. doesn't leave bumps like shaving and doesn't hurt like waxing. try Veet Bikini.
