Wait till the new nintendo comes out you will be able to download any nintendo game ever made! (even gamecube) for just 15$ a month. Its simple u use the system to connect to there servers and then download and play it.

You can find a regular NES pretty easily on eBay. They aren't uncommon. Super Mario Brothers shouldn't be too difficult to locate either.

If your really want to play the games now, there is always emulation. Basically, an emulator, in this context, is a program that functions like a console system, allowing you to play games on your computer by downloading ROM images of the games. This is technically illegal (not emulation itself, but the downloading of copyrighted games) but very common. The only downside is that, unless you have a game controller for your PC (or an adapter that lets you connect a regular NES controller to your computer), you have to play with your keyboard.

Normally I don't support game pirating, but with a system that's dead and has been dead as long as the NES has and which is no longer making Nintendo any money at all, I don't have a problem with it.

Anyway, I can't help you find ROM files (you wouldn't have trouble locating them if you wanted them), but if you want a good NES emulator, download FCEUltra. I've run into very few games that it doesn't run properly.

Also, as another poster said, the upcoming Nintendo console will allow for the relatively cheap purchase and download of NES, SNES, and N64 games, as well as some Sega Genesis/Megadrive titles (like Sonic the Hedgehog) and Turbographix 16 games, so that's something to keep your eye on.

I don't think Nintendo sells the NES anymore, but I'm sure you can find what you're looking for on Ebay! Also, if you have a Gameboy Advance, you can buy Super Mario Bros for Gameboy Advance, instead of playing it on NES.

While I am not 100 percent familiar with a lot of video games and systems, I HAVE seen several first Nintendo game systems at my local new and used video game supply store.

If you don't have one in your area, you may have to search your local newspaper for games for sale, visit Goodwill and/or Salvation Army stores, garage and yard sales, and, of course, go online and search.

I know people want to upgrade and get rid of the "old "stuff, so I think you may have luck in finding one.

Just don't let anyone try to con you out of a lot of money; I've seen them advertised for $20.00 or less in my area-but, it may be different where you are. Hope this helps a bit.
