He's never been past the first round of the playoffs, yet complains all the time. He's a ball hog. He complained about how he never had any good players on his team, and now he has the second best center in the NBA and he still can't even MAKE the playoffs. The most famous playoff series of his career involved choking against the Pistons, when he guaranteed victory after taking a 3-1 lead and blew it. All he can do is score; he can't play defense. He is a bad player and deserves to lose.

yes, he plays with an outstanding center and he still sucks. Although I would have to put carmelo way up there on the overrated. he's a great scorer, but he doesn't rebound, pass or play defense.

He was injured all last year of course he didnt make the playoffs. He took down the scoring title a few years back. He has a higher career point average than names like Charles Barkley, David Thompson, Tim Duncan, Bob McAdoo, Dirk Nowitzki, Julius Erving just to name a few...Oh and eh, he's on the cover of NBA Live 2007.

T-Mac is a great player when he's healthy. He led Orlando to the playoffs single-handed. He's been hurt alot lately and when healthy he's one of the best in the league. Yoa Ming is soft and T-Mac has no help in Houston. Oh, and by the way he's a great passer and rebounder. He avg. more than 5 asst. almost every season and 6 rebs. He has 2 scoring titles. So I don't think he's overrated just hurt.(Sever Back Pain)

Don't think so, he is overrated but Steve Francis or Stojakovic are more !
During the last seasons, Mc Grady was not healthy all season long, that's why his teams didn't go to the playoffs.

He can score and can't play but he wasn't overrated until recently. He can't seem to play well with others, namely Yao.
