That is a very interesting question. While the obvious answer might seem to be Jesus, I would have to vote for Einstein. Much of the world is not Christen and there for are less impacted by Jesus. On the other hand everyone is affected by the physics discoveries of Einstein and is therefore impacted, even though most probably don't know it. Considering how much less time Einstein has had to create impact I think makes his case that much stronger.

Even those who are not Christian have been impacted by the followers of Jesus, for good or ill, so I question whether any serious argument for Einstein, as important as his work was, can be made. I would say that the answer is that Jesus had the greatest impact on our current world and only Johannes Gutenberg, aside from other major religious leaders like Mohamed or Buddha, might challenge him for that title.

I would say Jesus Christ because the religion he founded has cause nothing but problems for the world. The Christians have kill their own people, Jewish People and Muslims because of his teaching or in some cases how Christians view different parts of the bible. Even though he tried to teach the world to think like Jewish People in helping the poor, giving to the church and taking care of one another. It hasn't worked as plan and now we have a group of religious people who feel their religious teaching are the only way to get to heaven; and really they become what Jesus didn't want a bunch of people who think they are better than the rest of the world.

Jesus.

Einstein may have been an incredible man who helped in the development of the Atom bomb and of course the proliferation of modern science, but Jesus and the construct of modern religion have killed more than any atom bomb.

Faith in religion and the hope that there is something better later is a wonderful thing, but when children are dying on the streets because two religions or factions of religions cannot agree on something is sad. Just sad.

If it had not been for Jesus Christ - there would have been no Albert Einsteen. So of course Jesus had the bigger impact.

Einstein. If you were to have asked about Paul of Tarsus or St. Augustine then I would have had to go with them. But Jesus' message has been corrupted for so long now that he has less relevance to everyday life.
