its a damn shame. but i still support milan....cause the team is full of really great players who could probably do a great job regardless of this scandal.

They should have punished only the officials who actually did the match fixing (club managers and referees), not the teams. But maybe they wanted to be harsh to prevent this from happening again in the future.

Those who are paying for this, however, are the players and the fans. Some players already moved to Real Madrid and Barcelona, and those teams won't be the same without them. If I was a Juventus fan, I'd be devastated -- Cannavaro and Zambrotta left, and the team will be in the second division for a couple of seasons.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Italian National Team also did some match fixing in the World Cup. Did you see the Italy vs. Australia game? wouldn't be surprised if something happened in that game.

According to South American TV commentators influencing on the selection of referees for certain games is common place in South American associations as well. Kudos to Italy for putting a stop to this practice in one of the world's greatest football leagues and hope others follow suit.

im really upset because juvi was my favorite team and now i might not even be able to watch the often because i dont get series b here. and its unfair to the players. they didnt do anything and all of this affects really only them. and their fans.
