They also bomb the army they expect to control the border with them. The army is already to weak to disarm a 3 year old!! Hizballah aren't shooting from a town or a house of a specific guy. Also the lebanese government is incapable of dissarming hizballahand hizballah agreed to disram after a specific piece of land was given back. Did i mention the illegal chemical (phosphorous) bombs used??

Was it allright to try to destroy Israel? Israel tried in every way possible to live peacefully with its neighbors. They are surrounded on all sides with countries that harbor terrorists. From the day Israel was established, the attacks began. The Israelis even bulldozed their own settlements and gave the land to the Arabs, but nothing short of the annihilation of Israel would satisfy them. The suicide bombers got on Israeli school buses and went into the market places. Missiles were aimed at resorts and cities and hundreds more were poised on the border. Israel even built a wall but it didn't keep the terrorists out. When 2 soldiers were kidnapped, Israel had enough. The did what the US should be doing; they went after the terrorist's headquarters and training grounds. These are the same terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 and have attacked Britain, India and other countries. Israel is the only ally of the US in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region. They have a right to defend themselves.

Of course I believe Israel's point of view. Anyone who has a television or reads a newspaper can see what they've had to put up with all of these years.
If they wanted to bomb civillians, then why do they release pamphlets advising civilians to leave the area? Their goal is to strategically destroy Hezbollah's ability to continue their operations.
Why isn't your anger directed at Hezbollah? They started this whole thing. They are the ones "welcoming" this war. Isn't that what they said? Israel just wants to be left alone. It amazes me that the hatred for Israel is so intense in that region that it obscures the common sense God gave you.

Look back 5 years Lebanon has been bombing Isreal and killing people at least that long. They went into Isreal and killed 3 people and took two to torture and burned down there buildings.
Like they have been doing for years.
Isreal just got tired of it.
If you don't want people to bomb you , you shouldn't bomb them.
Lebanon is hardly innocent.
We listen to CNN and the news. From people who are there.
I wondered a long time ago when Isreal was going to get enough and start to fight back. Don't give it out if you can't take it.

Quite frankly, I support Israel because the other side supports terrorism. If Lebanon stood up and removed Hezbollah from its country several years ago (as they had promised), they wouldn't be facing Israeli tanks now.
Personally, I hope all of Hezbollah and other anti-Israeli terror groups are destroyed, and then Lebanon can rebuild (this time, not allowing idiots to take over part of their country).
