When I phoned the helpdesk regarding this they laughed at me and hung up the phone, i'm sure they've been watching everything I do, including having sex with my wives brother.
Is there any way I can get this taken out, they're all watching me.

The answer is no. There are no cameras or microphones in your monitor. Now your workstation is another story...

Unless the monitor has a cable going into the mic in on your sound card, and a USB cable going to the PC AS WELL AS the regular VGA connector...even if such items existed in your monitor, they would have no way to communicate with the computer.
Yes, SOME monitors do have built in microphones, but I have yet to see one with a webcam in it.
If there is a camera and mic somewhere, it's not in the monitor.
Personally, I think you need therapy either for your paranoia, or your drug problem, and most certainly with coming out to your wife about your bisexuality and infidelity.

I'm fine with gays, they are accually really cool!
but, just, if you can, take off the cover of the monitor and cut the wire on the inside
unless ur monitor is connected to something besides the big plug that is blue colored or something, nothing should be able to be watched.
look in the back of your monitor
there should only be 2 wires
the power
and one that goes into a big slot
if htose are it, then no worries
they can't see or hear anything.
because that big slot is output ONLY!
no videos can be sent in unless there is another wire.
if there is, then just cut it or just unplug it
