I have one team which has both Deuce McCallister and Reggie Bush. One is a known player with injury problems and the other was great in college but an unknown in the pros. I need to get rid of one since I don't like having two backs from the same team. Who do I try to trade? No free agents available that are worth much either "sigh"

I also have Foster from Carolina and Anderson from Baltimore, don't know if they will see much time. I see your points about keeping both, Thanks for the input.

First things first, 2 backs from the same team isn't so horrible if its a RB by committee. Now, being a Saints fan I know this, the situation in NO is bleak right now. Sure, the Deuce is coming back, but they(doctors, fantasy guru's) say that to recover from the injury he suffered, it takes two years to get back to full strength. However, wait a week for people to forget that Bush might hold out all year. Who knows, maybe he'll sign, and then fish him and Anderson around the league. See who takes the bait and what they offer. Bush's stock may never be higher than right now(unless he really does turn into the next Marshall Faulk). If you get offered a feature back, or someone who isn't in a committee, then I would think about making the deal with Bush and using the Deuce. He'll still be a fantasy factor this season, while Bush's value is probably in keeper leagues. Remember, McAllister has proved himself against the NFC South(who the Saints play for more than a third of their season). Bush is freakishly talented, but tell that to TB, Carolina and Atlanta and see how far you get.

Having Deuce and Bush is the BEST way to own either back. Handcuffing is highly valuable with valuable RB's. Remember Priest and LJ last year? Priest was a stud, but at times they played the two together and they both got huge pts before Priest was knocked out for the season.

They may play together much like Bush and L. White did in college. There are questions about Deuce's health at the moment so it would be a poor time to trade him. When healthy Deuce is a major force...a top 7 RB in the league on talent...and Bush has been annointed the best RB coming out of college since well...ever if you believe pundits.

Both are on a team that has a good, but not great O-line having lost C. Bentlely. I have confidence in Sean Payton the new head coach...but don't like many variables in N.O.'s...still following Katrina.

Bush is likely to have some holdout issues...if your going to trade him...get value today...next week rumours and fears are going to likely soar if he's not signed. You may be able to get a Warrick Dunn or Kevin Jones or Chester Taylor, Droughns or Dillon at best.

IF you trade Deuce and hold Reggie...hold him a little longer...and if the Reggie rumors start flying or good news comes out about his playing status ...then trade him if you want. Deuce is the one who will have declining value if Bush inks a deal...Bush will get his touches...they are going to have to spend 40 Million or more on him...and owner Benson won't do that and have him riding the pine too much. Bush is marketing power for a team that needs good press.

It sounds like you're going to have a rough season regardless of what you do. Those RBs are definitely not fantasy championship material. As far as which to keep between those two....my instinct says to hang on to Reggie Bush. I have never seen a rookie prospect this well regarded at the RB position. It's been since Manning, Peyton, since any rookie built this much excitement. On the negative side....a recent report says Bush's agent is threatening to hold out Bush for the entire season and re-enter the draft in 2007. I can't see that happening....but it does make a lengthy hold out sound propable. And lengthy hold outs are NOT good for rookie production.

You dont know who's the starter so u keep them. Theres no prob with having 2 rb's from da same team as long as you dont start both of them at the same time. This is an advantage because if 1 were hurt then the other would be the starter and vice versa. Look for Mcallister to start at beginning of da season and for Bush to close it out in da final weeks. Just keep both of them u have a bench for that.

I would talk with other coaches and see if they want to trade Reggie Bush so they can gamble with him. Otherwise, check out the Saints Web page and see who they plan on starting in the game. I think its too soon since they haven't played yet to decide. I would also advise that you checkout the pre-season games too.

In addition to what the others have said, there is talk that Bush may hold out the entire season! So you have on to both of them for now and see how Bush's contract talks go.

I say Michael Bush. McFadden continues to be out. Bush and Fargas will the two be doing plenty of their activity vs. the Jets. Maroney is going to get a ton of the includes in New England. So I say no to eco-friendly Ellis. Mewelde Moore could be the worst to initiate. he's #3 on the intensity chart of Pittsburgh and probable won't play in any respect.

Don't get rid of either of them. If you need to get rid of a RB I would get rid of MIKE ANDERSON. I really don't think he's gonna get a lot of carries, because I'm predicting a reemergence of Jamal lewis. Thats just my opinion, but I really wouldn't get rid of Deuce or Bush. Good Luck.

Get rid of neither. Wait to see how it shakes out and cut a backup kicker or defense instead.

Those commodities are useless except for 1x a year, and you can find a suitable replacement on any given bye week.
