yo 'drydreamer', your answer was hilarious! LMAO!!!
Anyway, i think that the dream is just warning you that whatever someone tells you to do canbe harmful and dangerous. This means that you should not listen to most things people tell you to do, even if they are the right things, because doing them could cause injuries of any sort.
Or the dream can mean that you are frightened in life about how you make it through the whole year without being dissed and wanting to complete everything but you can't because something is in the way.
These are what are represented:
Alerted person: Parent
Boa snake: Friend
Grass Snake: Friend
Cobra Snake: Enemy who you are afraid of.
The alerted person, has rid of the 2 harmless snakes because they understand your problems and yet you can't seem to rid of the cobra because you are afraid of them and if you ask them to go away then you will end up hurt and injured.

It sounds to me like the snake represents your sexuality, which is something that frightens you because it is powerful and 'poisonous'/dangerous. So you attempt to trap it, i.e. repress it inside yourself. But the snake is too strong for that, it will not be kept down. It is going to come back out and will have some influence on your life. This dream suggests to me that you are entering a time of change, either in your body, or in your emotions, and how you feel about your body and sex are important issues for you.
Also the fact that there are three snakes is interesting, as 3 is a magical number. What do the other two snakes represent and why was it easier to get rid of them?
Of course you might think all that is bullshit! It's just how I see it. Difficult not knowing anything about you to say, but that's what I think.

To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. The snake may also be seen as phallic and thus symbolize dangerous and forbidden sexuality. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, snakes represent transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive changes.
To see a pillow in your dream, represents comfort. relaxation, ease, and/or luxury. It may indicates laziness or on the other hand, a need to take it easy on yourself.
To dream that you are lying on a pillow, suggests that you are in need of some mental support.
To see a full jar in your dream, symbolizes success and victory.
To see a broken jar in your dream, denotes illness and heartbreak.
To dream that you are being chases, signifies that you are avoiding a situation that you do not think is conquerable. It is often a metaphor for some form of insecurity. In particular, to dream that you are chased by an animal, represents your own unexpressed and unacknowledged anger which is being projected onto that animal. Alternatively, you may be running away from a primal urge or fear.
the numberThree signifies life, vitality, inner strength, completion, imagination, creativity, energy, and self-exploration. Three stands for trilogy as in the past, present, and future or father, mother, and child, etc.
To see a bush in your dream, symbolizes feminine emotions and desires. It may also be a reference to the female genitalia.
I hope this was enough

I think, if you are truly interested in dream interpretation, you can find someone who specializes in that, although, please remember it is not a science, it is actually considered entertainment, but it can be enlightening. Try the source I've listed below and do a search in the Find Advisor box using the words "Dreams" or "Dream interpretations". Don't go for the person with the highest rate per min. Some allow email questions. If you want an answer by someone who does that for a living, it's best to pay a little bit for it (and no, I do not work for them, lol!).

Found this in my dictionary of dreams, hope it helps. Snakes are associates with deceit and trickery as well as temptation, the snake represents our suppressed sexual urges and uncontrollable passion, a snake is regarded as a phallic symbol. A snake coiled round you means you are enslaved to sexual passions, A grass snake means is telling you there is disloyalty and trickery around you, because snakes are poisonous most people fear them and usually associate them with fear, a snake coiled round a jar or stick is a symbol of wisdom.
Had you been watching or talking about snakes a few days before this dream because your dreams do represent your life and conversations too, most dreams are just that, dreams, hope your over the dream and hope this helps too.

Let me analyze this dream for you
Snakes = dangers
Cobra = daily tedious task
Someone = your conscience (responsibilities)
Sounded like this dream about responsibilities. You project that someone to tell you there are things in life you should be responsible for that you should take care of yourself or the trouble will follow you around. You can't reply anyone on fixing problem for you.
All those action about the snake chasing your, hitting the cover of the jar basically symbolizes the daily task you have. You project it as if you are running from it. That also shows WHO you handle problems. Subconsciously you are fear of confronting problem yourself. The dream is basically reflecting what your personality is. In this case, you may have some issues of fear. Could it fear of responsibilities, or fear of doing things alone??
I could be wrong, but that is how I see from your dream

You are the author of your dream. That being the case, each aspect of your dream reflects something of the self.
Take a moment and become one part of the dream. It can be the pillow or the jar or even the Cobra. Be that thing and see what your mind is trying to tell you.

Dreams are about our unresolved emotions in our conscious state. Snakes are changing animals, as in removing their skins to be re-invented in another skin. You are seeking a lot of change.
Whatever the strongest change that is happening in your life it is poison to your inner being. You are in conflict with regard to a direction you are seeking to follow. Re-evaluate and the snake will not follow you.
There is a part of this that is involved with your diet. (The mayo jar). But there is also other aspects that the snake represents as you.

sorry youve had some stupid replies...but I would think that this means you have someone around you that you would like to be rid of but dont have the courage as yet. (Hence seeking advice from others, who then told you to sort the problem yourself. Seems to me, you may already know what to do but don't want to face splitting friendship/relationship. Before you go to bed ask your subconscious to make things clearer and be specific what you want, keep a pen and pad by your bed to jot notes down if you wake, and don't be afraid, dreams cant hurt you. Think hard what you would like to change in your life, and then do it. No one can change your life...only you can.
