Definitely Tim McGraw. He is a great singer and if you ask someone for a male country singer I bet a lot of them would say Tim McGraw.

George Jones - without doubt. Tim and Toby are great current stars. But George was the front man for Country for so long. Just like Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline are to the female singers.

Johnny Cash all the way ! He has brought country music back to life when he was singing and i think that he was really good at what he did! drugy but i think that everyone back then went threw that just look at jimmy H. he was a drugy and then look at some other people that is what they liked to do before every show sit back stage and smoke some of that wacky weed!but yeah johnny cash owns country music!

I was leaning toward Garth Brooks until he tried that crossover into rock and roll. So now I'm going to have to vote for Johnny Cash because he is a country music legend. I enjoyed his music before I even realized he was considered country.
