Nair has a bikini cream out as well as the wax strips to eliminate shaving with the bumps and cuts. The creams and wax strips pull the hair from the root whereas shaving only cuts away whats growing outside of the skin. I haven't tried the creams or wax strips yet but I would believe without a doubt that they are a whole hell of a lot better than shaving everyday.

I personally suggest waxing as it is the best method for slower hair re-growth and after waxing a couple of times it really does grow back slower and even thinner and softer.
I don't suggest you try any hair removal creams, my friends who used them (And yes I seen a few examples) have had there skin turn a darker shade due to the continuous use of hair removal creams/foams.
It would be pretty painful the first time if you have been shaving and never tried to wax, but it is worth it!
Unlike shaving or even hair removal creams it completely takes out the hair roots, shaving and hair removal creams just remove the top part and the root stays in and hence the faster regrowth and itching and dark spots.

you are very brave for asking this question, but anyway veet delipatory is very helpfull with this. I think it will last longer than a shave. But I don't think you are suppose to use it there? The lotion that you asked of will make the hair softer not slow the growth. But that may help you too.

I shave down there as well. I have for at least 15-18 years. After I shave, I use Oil of Olay or a lotion that softens and thins hair regrowth. Using the lotion helps on the itching part, but the more often you shave, the thicker and courser your hair becomes, just like mens whiskers, almost.

My girlfriend is an esthetician and she does waxing, facials, the whole nine yards. She steers away from waxing the pubes, but chooses instead to do what is called sugaring. It is along the same principle as waxing, but the sugaring product only sticks to the hair and not the skin. This results in much less irritation. Repeated sugaring causes the hair shaft to thin resulting in less frequent and less painful treatments. She advises against chemical lotions and cremes as they dry your skin and make it more sensitive. Hope that helps

I would just shave and not use anything like Nair of Veet. They might break you out BAD and you don't want that.
Waxing will keep it away a bit longer but I would not go there either. That HURTS.

my wife was in the same predicament she actually went and had it "lasered" now while this may sound like something you would see in the movie Alien, she said it didn't really hurt that much at all and its gone it doesn't grow back. sometimes she says she kind of misses it though because you have more options with shaving it like if you wanted a small " landing strip" or something like that. in other words once it's gone it's gone so make sure that is what you really want. im sure there are plaves in your area that preform laser hair removal just do a search on the net.

Just dont put anything there cause sometimes the things you pick mihgt actually hurt you. Honestly...shave and then let it go a couple of days then do it again...if you ckeep shaiving everyday you can cause ingrown hairs and they could get infected....but after about 3 times of shaving and letting it go the itching will subside
