They are this eras Utah Jazz of the Late 80's and early 90's. That was an insane move I don't know who they think they will pick up.

The Cav's have the potentional to be a good team. They have great talented, but not a coach who knows what to do with the talent or how to incorporated that talent into a game. If they somehow get better chemistry this year, and learn where each other likes the ball thrown to them, communicate better, baskets will come to them alot quicker and they will be able to execute much better once they are on the court. I see some improvement in that this year, as Lebron has made it known that he wants and needs to win.

Well they still gave LeBron James, but I agree with you, Drew Gooden is a good player on the team. Everyone these days has just about completly lost their minds.

He's a restricted free agent, so he's able to negotiate with the Cavs and other teams; if another team makes an offer, the Cavs have the option to match it.

According to this article, they're in negotiations:

Drew is a good player, and knows how to play TEAM ball which not everyone in the pros is good at. But he's been bounced around for that reason - he's not a "star", but any owner/manager/coach would consider him an asset to their team.

They are trying to resign him, but if he won't except an offer, then they are thinking about doing a sign and trade. I don't want to see him go, but Danny Ferry knows what he's doing.
