You could buy one of the many toy floaties out there, most come with a repair patch. Try using that. It should work for a small tear.

I think you can put some accessories on it after you tape it. If you sew it, maybe it'll not look so good. It will be the same when you patch it by taping it,the curtain will become sticky later.

there are many colors of duct tape find one close to it's color and repair with that from the inside
is it plastic? part plastic part fabric?
i am assuming it can't be sewn ha?
so duct tape is the thing!
plus you can cut the duct tape into say a fish?
making the duct tape a clever shape will be a good artistic way to hide the rip...
and if there are more rips more fish!

go to the hardware store and get some tape made for plastic the sales person can direct you in the right direction

use needle and thread, but you need another piece of material to sew on the back to strengthen the area like a patch
