if you are asking what bank he can open up an account that won't do a credit check , it would be any small bank. If there is a compass bank in your area he can do it there. Just look for a small community bank any will do.

I have worked in financial services for many years and have never heard of a bank that would refuse to open a deposit account (checking or savings) for someone in bankruptcy. It would be very difficult to get any type of overdraft or other protection for such an account, and the bank may levy severe overdraft fees on the account of someone with a bankruptcy, but I don't think he would be denied. If so, I would be interested in knowing more details. May God bless you.

Halifax opened one for me but I was not allowed a cheque card or a cheque book. Only a cashcard with a small amount allowed. Call banks to find out.

Someone answered mentioned overdraft facilities. This is borrowing and a criminal offence for a bankrupt.

A simple deposit account with a cash-card is about all he can get until discharged.
