If we were both single adults and she asked straight up I would ask her to go think about it for a bit and come back to talk about it.
It is safer than picking someone up in a club and if you both are wanting some physical love then why not ?
I think you would need to consider the emotional side of things too and if it was a friend chances are there would be some attraction no matter how small otherwise chances are the friendship wouldnt have developed

tell her that there are pleanty of other guys out there without strings. Simply because you have known her for a long time, there can be no such thing as no strings attached.
NSA relationships might work better if you don't exchange names or numbers, and if you don't know her names, it makes it easier to get away with wiping your dick off on the drapes as you leave.
When you grow up you will find sex better when there is some love and passion involved.

Absolutely not. I would tell her that I am flattered, but having sex just for sex is not really a compliment is it? Maybe it's just that her batteries are dead and you are second choice..?? Nope, either there is meaning to the act of making love or it's just not worth it. Then there is also the 'you have just ruined the friendship' aspect to consider. Could either of you remain 'friends' once you have taken that step?
