Desert Roses are crystals of Gypsum/Anhydrite/barite. They don't do too well in water.

Try looking at the website referenced if you are after the flower.

A desert rose is made from crystalised sand, they looked like a clump of rose petals! I have picked them up from the sand, in Egypt and in Saudi and you certainly dont put them in water!!.

Do you mean a dessert rosé? The better wines of this type are generally thought to be dry, not dessert types.

Hi,i have a dessert rose its brown curled up in a ball.When i water it with luke warm water it opens up turning green.If you type in dessert rose you should get it.
