We don't even do a god job communicating with our own neighbors, much less people of another culture or another religion. We as a species spend a great deal of time feeling threatened by the minuscule differences between ourselves and our fellow human beings: skin color, religion, language can become almost insurmountable barriers. We are in no way ready to develop relationships with any other intelligent species from any other planets in the universe. If we don't manage to kill off ourselves and our planet, maybe someday we will evolve to the point where we can reach out to the universe, but at this point, that's a big "if".

Of coarce it is possible, but with our tech it would it would take decades untill we reicieve a reply. However particles smaller then atoms can do somthing very strange :you have a pair of magic and you give one to your friend on pluto you and your friend roll the dice at the exact same time you get a six and so does your friend, the result is the same, every time. It seems as if the dice know, faster then light, what the other is going to show. In the future this action might be used to communicate faster then light, but for now we can only dream of such a device.

If there is like on other planets. I think that at some time in the future we will make contact with them, but it may not be in my life time or yours.
Remember, there is no evidence at this time that there is life on other planets.

The way things are going in the middle east, there is reason to doubt that there is intelligent communication on THIS planet...

I think with technology the way it is , then we will definately be able to speak to life forms on other planets one day .
Its amazing to think , that within our whole universe some people only think that we are the only life form around.

ok, it is best if we comunicate with our life on another planet. since nothing has been made impossible by human nature.we cannot challenge to scientific discovery. day by day, new invention and discovery has been made. no human nature has ever thought of flyaing in the sky like bird, but today we can fly. so let's hope that , one day we be on anothere planet.

Only when they decide they want to talk to the lab rats, I think they are the intelligent life and we are their experiments
