But Uniform is one time investment. If you keep two formal- and one sports day uniform that is enough for alteast 1 year.

In uniform you look well mannered if given a chance to wear casuals do you know how much tedious this work will be. You will spend lot of time coordinating colours, accessories, ironing all will effect ur grades. Besides uniform
shows no discrimination.

In my opinion school uniforms are a bad idea. They want everyone to look the same. Fact of the matter is, no one is the same. In the real world, some people have money, others don't. Some people don't care about appearances, others do. We should be allowed the right to express ourselves and our preferences by dressing the way we want to dress. Who took away our freedom of choice and why do we just lay down and not fight back?

I never had to wear a uniform for the first four years of my schooling, Queensland didn't require them...

then we moved to New South Wales where they were compulsory.... I hated my uniform wholeheartedly....

while in QLD I played on all sorts of equipment, ran and hopped and skipped and did all kinds of fun things... because I could... because I was wearing shorts or jeans....

then in NSW the uniforma was a dress..... what a horrid thing to do to a girl who liked being active....

never got over that feeling of being too vulnerable... and being excluded from certain activities simply by the cursed wearing of a uniform...

and yes I agree they are horribly horribly expensive for what they are...

all primary students if forced to wear a uniform should be dressed in shorts or trousers whether they are boys or girls to encourage and allow the girls all the same fredoms that the boys have in activities...

and all unforms prices should reflect the true value of the uniform itself...... bugger all.

I personally agree with uniforms not so no one is bullied, but because with a uniform not only the style but the fit can be legislated. Making it very much harder to hide weapons or the like in something other then those jeans with the belt around their thighs and so big of a shirt or so heavy of a coat you could hide a cannon in it...literally.

go to a store where they're not as expensive...nowadays you can almost go anywhere to buy parts of a uniform or the whole uniform itself for cheap. I loved wearing a uniform in high school, cuz it meant that I didn't have to spend hours picking out my clothes!

i have school uniform here in japan. I'm for the idea of wearing school uniform, for i don't have to be annoyed with clothes every morning and people can recognise soon that we're students.

how about this during physical education get the uniforms of those who are bullying you and rip them up keep doing untill they can't afford to get a new one then they will look even tattier than you'rs in fact if you do it everyones then eventually the school would have to just get rid of it.

Its like this. Who cares. I mean all those people who make fun or think they are cool don't matter in the long run. I have seen the "IN" crowd from my high school and wow, for a bunch of people who were going places and so cool. They don't seem to be very "IN" now. The people who matter are the ones who don't care if you went to school in a garbage bag. They like you for you.

I hate school uniforms, they want us to be robots with no individuality or imagination, so they make us dress the same. >:(
