Hi Jackie! You should floss as well as brush because brushing only gets the surface of the teeth and flossing gets any plaque or food between the surfaces of the teeth, also it rids your mouth of bad breath.

I brush three times a day since I have braces. Flossing is a pain, but I do it when I can.

You need to brush everyday, but floss once a week. Dont buy into that floss everyday crap, it is totally unnecessary unless you develope regular gum infections.

I DO BOTH.Brushing-helps remove plaque from the outer, inner and chewing surfaces of your teeth. FLOSSING-thoroughly helps remove plaque and debris from between the teeth especially in hard to reach areas at and slightly under the gumline.

brush and floss......I know this is gross, but when you just brush you cant get all the plaque and food particles in between the teeth.

I also love mouth wash!!! that helps fight plaque, gingivitis, and helps kill lots of bacteria.
