I am slowly learning to be an OK cook, but before I married my husband I didn't cook much at all. My mum always cooked very plain food (meat and 3 veg) because that's the sort of food dad likes. My hubby is an amazing cook, and I have learned a lot from him and feel more motivated to try cooking because of that.

However, even though I haven't been a good cook in the past, I have always been a fairly good baker, whereas my husband can't successfully bake at all!
