We want big, big, big, because we are still under the false assumption that bigger is better.
Bigger car, sure. Bigger house. Bigger can of coke. Bigger television. You get the idea.

not only in USA .. It's all around the world .. why not ..??!!
bigger is better in every thing ..
but not to the limit that revereses the case all around .. every big has a limit to go through ... right?

It has to do with the ego, and perception (bigger is better). It is human nature, really.
(And a few other things like deceptive advertising, product competition, free market economy, etc, etc)
