They cry because they are hungry, they have a wet/dirty diaper, or they want you to hold them. If nothing works and it really is a lot of crying, the baby may have colic. Talk to your doctor.

Babies cry because it is the only way they can communicate that they need something. Whether it be food, sleep, a clean diaper or just to be held.

because they cant communicate at that age, crying is their way of letting you know that they are hungry, thirsty, have a dirty/wet diaper, want to be picked up, or aren't feeling well....

Cannot speak, as there are no language skills, so she cries to get yourattention. from that point, you'll have to guess.
