Replace it with another addiction. I just don't know whether I live close enough to you to make your new addiction a practical alternative.

So funny...I am having the same exact problem.
ALL I want to do is play with "Yahoo answer's"
My husband said I was addicted to it too. But I have learned a lot of things plus it has made me feel good helping other's with what they want to know. I think what we "addict's" need to do is just try & set aside a certain time or amount of time that we really should go onto yahoo.
I find myself walking fast back to my computer because I just want to sit at this. I am behind in other jobs & answering emails. I love this too !

are you having fun, are you hurting anybody, are you neglecting stuff?

There is something called 'internet addiction' but that's debatable too, a scholar spends hours focused on stuff, so do writers, I'd say if you're not causing any harm, then you're probably not over-doing it...don't forget to sleep, though, and go to work! LOL

I would say get away from the computer. Go somewhere where there is no temptation to stroke a keypad. Volunteer somewhere where communicating with people is encouraged. U sound like someone who likes aquiring knowledge, which is good, but this cyber-stuff fails in comparison to face 2 face experiences.

First, I think a find answer and question is not wasting time. If you want to do something else, lock up kepboard in the drawer and give the key to your family and ask them only give it to you in certain time.

Unplug your computer, carry to the nearest body of water, and throw it in. That's the only way I'll be able to stop, until I go out and buy a new computer!

Well, I would set a timer and only allow yourself to do it for a little each day if you're trying to lower the amount of time on here! good luck, it might take some good self control as well.
