Many things can delay your period, other than pregnancy. It could be everything from your eating habits (not eating enough) or high stress. Some people are just irregular. If it concerns you though, get yourself checked out. You may have something like PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), which means you aren't ovulating every month. Here is some information about PCOS. You can read it and see if it describes what you're experiencing.

Virginity has nothing to do with losing your virginity, you can get it whether you are a virgin or not.

Girls get their first periods when they get them. Some girls get it at age 9, some get it at age 16, and it's all normal. It sounds like you don't know a lot about puberty or women's bodies and how they work. I suggest you ask your Mom about your period, or if you don't feel you can or if your Mom is not around, ask a school nurse. If you really feel shy about asking anyone, go to the library and get out "Our Bodies, Ourselves". It's all about women, and the particular body issues that women deal with. I'm sure it will be enlightening to you! The more information you have about your body, the better you'll feel about it, and the less worried you'll feel about growing into a woman, so I hope you find out more soon!

If you mean that your period is late this month, that can happen all the time, even if you are not pregnant. Stress alone can cause you to be late, or even skip a period. If you are over 30 days late or having troubling symptoms, you may want to see a doctor anyway because there are other problems that can cause you to be late. So if you physically feel fine, but are not having your period on time, don't worry unless you are a month late.

It all depends on your age, genetics and all that good stuff. If you haven't had your period yet and your like 17 ot 18 years old, I'd be worried, go see your doctor. If your younger then that then be happy! It'll start sometime.
