how can i find a used cell phone (Verizon) as a short term replacemnt for one that is water damaged.?

check on ebay, or you can go to a verizon store some will sell used phones that they have for around 20 bucks. I had to get a cheap one because mine got stolen

Usually your local Verizon dealer will give you a loaner. Ask them. Or call your phone insurance company. Lockline is a good one to use.
