What about love, happiness and fulfillment (i sound like a hippy).

Life is what you make it. I'm in wheelchair, but live as normal a life as I can. I have a LOT of experiences under my belt, and live a happy life. Disability definately isn't the end of your life, it's just a inconvience that you need to work around, everyone has those, but mine is more obvious.

While being mentally and physically well is important to us all, the most important thing in life is the condition of our spirit or soul. When we turn our whole life over to Jesus and let him make us new in spirit, then as we trust him he will make us whole in every other area of our lives.

II Timothy 1:7 says that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Another place in the Bible it says, I would that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.

We can't know true life, joy, love, or peace until we know Jesus.

This probably sounds a bit corny but having people around you (family, friends, loved ones) who care for you and respect you is the most important thing, but then after that comes mental and physical wellbeing. Keeping yourself fit and exercising works wonders for your metal health, and keeping a positive mental frame of mind helps you exercise and discipline yourself- so essentially they work in tandem- one helping the other. Religion is important for those who practice it, but even those who are atheist or agnostic, hopefully have a good regard for the wellbeing of your fellow man, like so many religions teach.

Absolutely not. God is first in our lives as He is the creator. Then after getting our filing system in order, where God is foremost in our lives, then comes our mental and physical well being. Without God in our lives, how then can we operate successfully? I have found that I have enjoyed a more hearty and worthwhile life since I recognized the it is mandatory to put God first. Remember this,"If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.
