Exploitation for profit, pure and simple. Stone has a history of doing movies that are pure emotional blackmail - he gives the audience what they are hungry for in terms of bad information and appeal to those who are ghoulishly seeking exposure to other people's suffering. The JFK movie he did was blown out of the water by ballistic testing and no one ever said a word. This one doesn't even give the families of those killed time to heal!

At least the movie makers in the past had the common decency to wait over a decade before making a movie about Pearl Harbor. That come out in 1970! By then the family members of the civilians and service men killed had at least 51 years to heal.

Stone needs to be told to leave time to heal before plastering the horror all over the screen. He's a callous profiteer and I hold him in the same light as those who tried to scam the city of New York and the victim relief funds by claiming they had lost loved ones in the attacks.

I think it's absolutely horrid that they have made a movie out of this. Yes, like people are going to flood the theaters to relive that day. It's bad enough that they still bombard you with it in the news and every press confrence at the W.H. "We will never forget" meant we will never forget. They don't have to keep cramming down our throats. If they make any money on it at all..it should go to the families.

i do no longer stay in manhattan yet i think that it replaced right into a tradgey and it would be left in concepts and background. actual why hearth up the sentiments now. It nonetheless hurts people who have been consequence via it and now they are being insensitive and attempting to make money off the placement. actual it pisses me off to think of hollywood is doing this lower back. Is no longer something off limits? what's next the Princess Diana tale with specific outcomes on how she died? provide it a destroy!

I haven't seen it & I don't want to see it. A lot of people are still
hurting from that disaster, & it's too soon to immortalize it.
Even if they've done it in so-called good taste.Everyone knows
all too well what happened. We don't need re-plays.
