I went through the same thing!! Except my BF married the guy. Now, of course, she's realizing what a jerk he is. I am a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen. Say nothing until she expresses her disappointment with him, then reassure her feelings. Never say anything nasty, though. They may get back together and you'll be out of the picture. Maybe he makes her happy. Try to focus on that. Even if he is using her, she's obviously happy with him, or she wouldn't be there either. You're a good friend for worrying. I'd be lucky to have you!! :)

Some people just have to find out on their own and if you try to tell your friend, make sure you have all the facts right. If she doesn't listen the first time, stay out of it or it could damage your relationship with your friend. But be there for her when it all falls apart, not to say I told you so, but to help comfort her. I'll bet she'll realize that you were right and then she'll know what a true friend you are.

I am afraid theres nothing you can do, whatever you say she will ignore if she really likes him. Dont get involved, difficult i know but if you keep slagging him she will just resent you and stop calling. All you can do is be there when it comes crashing down. I do believe that we have to go through these things so we can learn from our mistakes. Keep your chin up xx

I know what you feel you just want the best for your friend but I think you should just let it be let her see him for what he is let her make her own mistake, just be there if things get messy and she will need a friend. If you force the issue she might see you in a bad light and end up hurting your friendship. I know its annoying to just watch but again its your friends decision

Tough call! Be honest with her. Tell her how you feel. If he is such a jerk, than they'll end up breaking up anyway, and she'll resent you speaking your feelings then. Tell her up front. She may get mad at first, but will appreciate it in the long run.

Let her fall. When she hits the pavement, be there to pick her up. That's what friends do. She must learn for herself that he has a hidden agenda.

Although you seem to be lookin out for your friend..which is good.. you should let her find out for herself. We are quick to judge when another girl..especially a friend steps in and tells us the guy isnt right for us. If he is really using her ...she will find out eventually.
