Sell chipmunks and a lot of other unusual but small pets

I would be interested to know in what state you live that does not require you to have a license or permit for a chipmunk? I'm a wildlife rehabilitator and in most states it is illegal for any person (other than those permitted by their state) to care for wildlife, even if they have the intent on releasing them back into the wild.

Chipmunks being wild caught do not tame well, and they will find a way out of the all the enclosures you put them in. This I know from rehabilitating plenty of them. Escapees are difficult to find. There are plenty of other animals that are considered to be "exotic" that might suit you better.

Please do the chipmunks a favor and keep them in the wild where they belong.

There's Chipmunk-dales on 42nd... and the Chipmunk-a-torium in Jersey...

Lastly, Bobs Chipmunk, Squirrel and Ferret Extravaganza has a website... www.bobsferrets.com ,,, but I'd pay the extra for the next day delivery... ground shipment can have some nasty consequences if it takes more than a few days.

Try to locate a seller in your area. If you can't find one go to a local pet shop and see if they know anyone. Also try to put an ad in the newspaper.

I've never seen any for sale. Maybe you should set up some traps, but be humane to them. After all, they can be mean and bite your nose off!
