my friend made me a tutorial with some program called soft screen or somethin then he sent the file as a .wmv and it says this
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play.
what can i do?

Find out from your friend which video codec he used to create the file and install same on your 'puter.
