Because the cowardly scum Hezbollah use these densely populated areas to store arms and ammunition, and usually do so with the support and approval of the neighborhood. If Israel deferred from taking action, all terrorists would start to use this tactic, endangering an even greater number of people. They really have no choice but to do what they are doing. It boils down to this..........moderate civilian deaths now, or huge numbers later. And that does not even take into account the continued attacks against Israel. The people in these neighborhoods know what time it is. They made their choice. I have about zero sympathy.

I wonder why people such as yourself do not investigate for yourself what is happening there. Are you aware that cowardly terrorists hide behind women and children, even forcing them to be a front? Israel drops leaflets in areas before bombing asking people to leave. Anyone foolish enough to remain is fair game the way I see it. Ask yourself this: when was the last time you ever saw a terrorist from Hezbollah or Gaza's Hamas or Fatah send a leaflet before bombing a pizza parlor or sending a missile to Haifa? You're supporting terror when you side with anyone other than Israel.

Because there are military targets there. There is no strategic value to bomb civilians. Hezbollah puts missiles there to make it appear that the Israelis are deliberatly targeting civilians

Because the Lebanese government let Hezbollah stay in their cities and hide behind innocent people. Israel forewarned these people to get out! I guess Israel had enough of the Hezbollah firing missiles into Israel from Lebanon!
