Do you think my boyf is a liabilty?
After 100's of lessons he passed his driving test and got banned for a year within 3 mths, since then he's smashed the back end of his works van causing 7 grands worth of damage (on different occasions) by reversing into the driveway pillar, a barrier, a tree and yesterday he reversed into a groundfloor flat causing the ladders to embedd into the outside wall. creating more damage when he drove frward to free them out. Do you think he should stick with it or give up????

This isn't just another one of those "knock the bad driver" observations. It has been proven that some people do not have the spacial awareness to allow them to drive safely. Since he is backing into things is sounds like he can not tell where the back of the vehicle is in relation to where he is sitting. This is that skill that needs to be used to judge distance as well.

Get him out of the drivers seat. Please.

Your b/f needs to be beaten to a bloody pulp. Driving a vehicle is a serious responsibility and he is not taking it as such. He is either doing this stuff while high as a kite, he is absolutely completely unfocused on the task at hand, or he is 100% mentaly retarded. Either way, he has NO business being behind the wheel of any vehicle.

Don't look at a vehicle as a form a transportation....look at it as a 3000 pound hurtling death machine. If he continues to drive like that, he WILL kill someone if not several people.

Maybe the douche needs glasses? and/or some Ritalin? He should practice on video games for a while.
