I have not. However, I worked with an Iranian at my Universities' library--he was nearly the nicest gentleman I've ever met. We used to play chess and he invited me to Iran sometime to visit and play some more. So, perhaps, one day I will. Assuming, of course, that my presence wouldn't bother the general populace too much :)

yes, it is the most beautiful country in that region. it is also safe. you will enjoy Isfahan, Shiraz and many other beautiful city. I really want to go back and visit again. it is one of them most ancient countries in the world and has so many historical places and scenes to visit than any other countries in the world.
