I'm of Puerto Rican decent. Outside of baseball, singers, and acting, there haven't been many notable Puerto Rican men. No Puerto Rican president, billionair, CEO, world renown scientist, etc... However, I do not feel oppressed nor that the world owes me anything. No one has to give their money, job, and/or position to a Puerto Rican just because they may bicker or form a lawsuit. If anyone has wrong a Puerto Rican/Hispanic, they should apologize, not the whole world.

Why do feminists beleive if they are not in control or "on top" they are oppressed? Why do feminists believe the world owes them everything?

These women are very strong willed and spoiled. When you become spoiled, you want everything your way, It's not the culture, but I believe it is certain individuals, that group together to get their own way. We have alot of people, in the U S that are just plain rotten spoiled. They don't know how to appreciate people or things in this life. Let them go to other countries and act that way. Many people who are in the military, that go to other countries, come back and appreciate what they have.God Blessed America but they become spoiled from it. They do not realize how good they have it. I have met many people who came here to live, from other countries and they are such beautiful people, who really love this country, appreciate and are thankful. They are not filthy rich people, They live low class, barely surviving and are still thankful. Guys that live here from Mexico are such sweet, guys and make very wonderful husbands. Sorry, it's not just the feminists, it's just individuals who act like that. They want it all, their way. Hope you understand this.

Don't tar us all with the same brush. I don't feel the world owes me anything except fair treatment... equal treatment. I don't care if a man opens a door for me ever again, but I would appreciate not being talked down to when I go to buy a new car. I'd like to receive the same paycheck as my male counterparts for doing the same job.

And there a lots of notable people of Puerto Rican descent. See below...

I'm not sure why you think feminists think the world owes them anymore than it owes all other men, women, and children. I suggest you check out the definition at the link below. It's about equality, not dominance.

Here's the thing. Ethnicity is not comparable to gender. Gender is impossible to hide, the prime fact in determining our appearance (meaning the differences between men and women), and is the single factor used worldwide to keep a group of people in specified roles.

Feminists aren't looking for a free handout or control; we're looking for something close to parity and appreciation on par with that granted to men. If 52% of the U.S. population is female, wouldn't it make sense that the representative government bodies we have in place be 52% female? Why is it that some twenty or thirty years after legislation was passed to ensure equal pay for equal work, women are still only making 76 cents for every dollar that men do?

As a person of Puerto Rican descent, you should know that the struggle for equal rights and recognition that feminists have taken up is not only theirs but yours. Third wave feminism looks not just on the short changing of women but of those of all minority racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds.

Feminist themselves dont know how to express there hurt and some have seen the hurts of there parents but this dont give them an excuse to hurt and belittle familys and want to fight to destroy familys.
Hispanics,Pueto Ricans are (the Ones I know and that helped me an Italian)family oriented and they are proud people and the Penticostals are very family oriented.they have taught me a lot about family and most do not agree with feminist. The Hispanics are a tight bunch of people and my life of runnung around has changed because of It .
Feminist are destryers of the family unit, but I believe It Is because men are not what a man Is supose to be acording to the word of God,My life as I said in an other article states this and I asked for prayer and forgiveness and for the woman that I have hurt.I have repented for my sins and I admit them and I believe that most feminist or there mothers have been hurt by men Like myself and need forgivenes In Jesu Name I pray amen

Even when women are in control, they feel oppressed. In western culture, they have always had a privileged position, but only of course if they had a husband. Since some women were too ugly or onery or sexually confused, this did not work for them, so they demanded, and got, an even more privileged position so they did not have to even have husbands. But, as they say, too much is never enough.

Try being "on the bottom" for a few thousand years, jack.

See how much YOU like it.
