Some women do. I do not think it is a good idea to bring women along for men's business trips. I used to bring my wife to some of my business trips. I thought, by doing that she will understand my job. It back fired. She started to interfere in my decisions. As a businessman, I make decisions on a macro and not micro level. I also look on the long run. She does not see it that way.

An example is, when I need to break into a market or a new customer, I may offer a very good deal. I may not make much but I need to break in. I did not discuss with her. I do not need to. She is not my business partner. When she found out some how, we had an argument about it. I told her not to interfere as this is a business decision. This is only one example, there are
many more.

From then on, she always accused me of not discussing with her. If she contributes good suggestions or ideas, I will gladly accept it. But no. She is not business minded. She thinks I was stupid to make so little.

So ladies out there, let your men make business decisions. Chip in some good ideas once in a while and let him decide. If you are a business partner it is different. If you are not, just play the role of contributing some ideas once in a while.

Some do.

A colleague at work sometimes goes when her husband is on a business trip or conference. Sometimes she flies out at the end and they have a few days away together before coming home.

Well, it's nice to be invited along every time. I guess I'd like the option. If he's going to Rome, I'd like to tag along. If he's going to Middle-of-Nowhere, I could pass on that one, and just enjoy the time to myself.

I think it's the same when women go on business trips. If the option is available, then I think you should ask the husband if he wants to come along.

if its somewhere cool like a vacation spot, sure. it depends on how much business and how much play time is allowed. I would not want to sit in a room at a boring place but would love to go to the beach or something. Sometimes the break is nice too. Absense makes the heart grow fonder.

this questions has variables in it but yes women like the abiblity to go, they like to know they are invited and like to know they are not excluded or forbidded from any aspect of their man. my wife new i had an open door situation that when ever we didnt have to have the kids she could go with me and i think she even liked the idea that i begged at times. in short yes they do but more then anything they like the idea of being included in every aspect of a marriage....
