my home is worth everything.....my house is not

We just got our assessment from the tax office. UGH.
270,000.
We bought it a year ago at 230,000.
We live in the north east---so it isnt a mansion to be sure. I think we could get a lot of house for that kind of dough down south!!

One at $430K the other about 1.2M ( but hard to tell in this real estate market)
