No- this is high. A random blood sugar level should be between 70–125.

Age doesn't matter. If you only take a randon blood sugar, you should take it in the morning before you eat. It should be in between 70-120 . It will read higher if you've just ate or if you have an infection it will be higher. You should monitor it more often. 250 is too high. See your doc. It is possible that it can be controlled through diet alone, or a pill. Insulin would be the next step. Learn what effects your blood sugar (glucose) levels and take care of yourself!

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

The new index calls for blood sugars target range to be 120 fasting/premeal time. A 250 depends on when you tested. I am so hoping it was within a hour of a meal loaded with sugar. Sounds like it is time to go to the doctor and do that good old glucose tolerance test that takes a few hours. Diabetes effects your organs, vision and of course limbs. See a doctor ASAP.

You really need to get your blood sugars in check and also you need to get it down.. that is not normal...Trust me, you need better control and what your diet is like as well if you are on meds and regular testing your Blood Sugars..if its that high I recommend 4 times a day until you can control it. I am a lifetime diabetic, so I should know this stuff.

Honestly, I would go talk to your doctor if you are worried about your blood sugar. Sometimes, just a simple change in diet could help regulate it, but I would talk to your doctor first.
