Why does common sense elude liberals?

I just can't figure out why everything lib's back is socialist in nature or it takes away hard working people's money ( more taxes) for re-distribution programs.

Why do they hate the military? Or our core freedoms guaranteed by the constitution and bill of rights?

Assuming you are talking about the modern day liberal versus the classic liberal, I completely agree. Socialism (which is what they are) is a completely flawed system. It has failed everytime it was tried, and has never even shown a glimmer of possibility.

They hate the things you talk about because of this socialist nature, which they not only apply to us but to the world. We should not be the most powerful country in the world, it is not fair. We should give everything we have to the rest of the world, so we can all be equally unfortunate.

Look at how they deal with poverty in this country. Take away from the prosperous (the ones that create wealth and create jobs) and give it to the poor. In just the right amount to be meaningful, but not big enough to actually get them out of poverty.

Basically their big plan is to punish the 'rich' and make them as poor as everyone else. It is not to find a way to help the poor make themelves rich. Essentially they want to spread misery equally.

It eludes the Liberals pretty much the same way it eludes the Conservatives.

Common sense and politics tend to be mutually exclusive, regardless of Party affiliation. Once you decide to follow an agenda no matter what, common sense has left the building.

Dont say they lack common sense, it somewhat connotates that theyre like super geniuses that cant tie their shoes. I dont think that common sense eludes anyone. However, it seems like a lot of liberals do the political discussion socially. With social matters, I suppose it would be more for the acceptance of others and to look like theyre smart. Freedom of information without the tedium of informing oneself. If you dont believe me, tell people youre a liberal, make up a rumor about some grand conspiracy, and see how many people ask you for evidence.

Excellent question. The dumbocrats think that it's every working person's responsiblility to take care of the lazy population, who because of their unwillingness to work, create a burden on the rest of the society. Anyone who raises an objection to the welfare system is branded as a heartless conservative who wants people to starve. Everybody just needs to take resoponsibility for their own actions.

It's a little pesky thing called a soul, that conservatives have managed to lose over the years. We tend to consider the rights and privileges of others, in helping build a fairer and just society. Even our Founding Fathers believed in taxes and the separation of church and state -- which today's conservatives seemed to have conveniently wandered away from in building up waves of ignoramuses who'll vote a straight party ticket. If you research the word 'liberal' you will find that the definition has changed in modern times. It now means 'socialist' and they don't even realize it. Shows how smart they really are.
