I will probably wait until it comes out on DVD. I hardly ever go to the movies. And something like this I may not be able to see without crying. I tried to read "102 Minutes" by Jim Dwyer & could not make it through it even though I read survival stories all the time. It being within my lifetime does seem to make a difference.

No, I am not ready to see it and I don't know if I will ever be able to watch it. It is hard enough 5 years later to think about the suffering and extreme emotions of that time, I think that reliving it in "technicolor" will only reopen the still painful scars. I think that there will be people who watch it, there is a percentage of the population who will always need to see this type of tragedy played out repeatedly. Maybe they are looking for answers or understanding that will comfort them in some way, or maybe by reliving it over and over it will diminish the horror for them.

This looks like a really good movie. But I think they should have waited a little while longer to make it. That tragic day brings back a lot of sad memories for soo many Americans and reliving that time in the victim's family's lives is probably really hard. And yes, they don't have to see the movie itself but I bet they will see at least one commercial for it. Also, they are trying to save two police officers in this movie, what about the families who lost police officers? Would you want to see how your father, brother, uncle or any family member died?

World Trade Center happens to be about two officers that responded to the tragedy and got caught in the collapse. This movie was guided by those survivors, I don't see why this would be seen as a ploy to get people to donate money.
I am going to go see it with my 13 year old, this way any other questions he has, I can answer them.

Yes, I will go and see it. I just want to see what the heroes of 9/11 had to go through to save people trapped in the fallen World Trade Center.

Not a chance. I remember 9/11 and I don't need to see it replayed over and over again. It was and is a great tragedy in our history. Life, however, goes on and I'll move on with it.

yea i think so. i still find it messed up that theyre trying to make money off some tragedy. I also think that the victims dont really need more donations unless some really need it since theyve been given so much already.

I'm not interested in seeing it. Why would I want to pay to see something now that I saw for free on the news.
