No doubt about it.
Coulter would be calling him a "terrorist" for his stance on emancipation. And Rove would be trying to find "dirt" on him by intimidating his old law partners.
They are the lowest of the low.

Ann Coulter would call Jesus "Godless" if he ran against a conservative.

Carl Rove would just "suggest" that maybe Lincoln has some skeletons in his closet. Then he would do it over and over again until thoughtless people would take it as a fact.

No they wouldn't, but then again he was a Republican and when he went to war, he imprisoned just about anyone that spoke against the war effort.

In fact if he were President now, and did the same things as then, the war on terror would have been finished by now, the New York Times and many others would have been shut down, most of their reporters and editors in prison or shot for treason.

Ahh the good old days when we not only refused to listen to the stupid liberals, we could shoot them.

I think you have this all backwards.

In fact it would be Howard Dean and Harry Reid leading the character assassination of Lincoln.

Its not surprising to me that the self appointed 'champions of the first amendment' are the first to try and quiet free speech when it disagrees with their philosophy. Like it or not, Coulter is a member of "the press" mentioned in the first amendment.

Democrats too often seem to forget about the "free exercise" clause too. I fail to see how free exercise means delete God and hinder prayer.

With regard to the racial implication, remember, it was Democrats who were the final holdouts against racial reform in this country. It is the Democratic party who still have a former clansman among their ranks. It is the Republicans who have appointed minorities to some of the highest positions in this administration. And its not simply because they are minorities, but because they happened to be among the most suitable individuals WITHOUT regard to race.

The Democrat poverty pimps like Jackson and Sharpton would be out of work if too many blacks aspired to the likes of Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell and Condi Rice or if they listened too closely to people like Bill Cosby.

Ann Coulter would actually order a military strike against Jesus. Never mind that puppet though, America has become a cancer to itself.

Lincoln was a Republican, but I doubt he could get the nomination from today's GOP. Then again, neither could Jesus Christ -- that speech about "Let he who has two cloaks give one to him who has none" would kill any chance JC might have had.

Probably not since 1.) he referenced God more often than our current president in his speeches and 2.) he was of similar ideology to our current president.

They would try to destroy him. It doesn't say much that with our country's shallow preoccupation with looks, Lincoln would have a difficult time.
