Dear 12-Year Old Kid,
Please be careful on the internet. This is not a place for kids. You don't need to be chatting with adults....... not everyone on the internet is a good person. You might "think" someone is your friend and they might "tell" you that they are a kid, but you have no way of knowing WHO is really typing on the other end. It could be a 56 year old "bad guy" who wants to do more than just "chat" with some sweet little girl. So don't give out your email addresses, don't give anyone your real name, your age and especially not your phone number, cell number or address. Also, don't tell them what town you live in or what school you attend. Bad people can track down kids with just a little bit of information. Your parent(s) should have already told you this. The internet is NOT a safe way to make new friends. Sorry for the lecture.... I just want you to be safe, okay?

My son is 12 and will be 13 in less than a month. Have to agree with Primrose's post above. My son likes to play free online games and find kids his age to chat with while he plays. Here is not here or I would list them for you, but two that I can think of are www.realarcade.com and www.thekidzpage.com/freekidsgames/index.htm.
