What would be the global consequences?

Initially there would be anarchy, eventually someone would emerge as the new world power, probably China. Then I would be very glad we were all suddenly removed.

First the US pumps a lot of aid money to a large number of small countries. even places like japan and china depend on exports to the States to drive their growing economies.
there have been a number of studies done on what would happen globally if the US economy were to fail and none of them end happily. most predict a worldwide depression and mass civil wars breaking out everywhere. with the loss of the huge amount of food the states export the number of people starving to death would skyrocket.
Sure things would settle down after a time. but at what price?
We've become a global market and the loss of any country ripples not just the markets but effects all of us personally.

Four things:
1. A vast expansion of land south of Canada for mother earth to renew her lungs.
2. My beloved Great Lakes would not be threatened by the US voracity any longer.
3. The whole world would be a way more paceful and cleaner ball spinning out there in outer space.
4. Coca bushes would go back to be useful for medicines and local drinks.

The water in the atlantic and pacific would rush into the void. Global sea levels would fall and the north atlantic drift would probably shut down.
climate nightmare. The Americans abroad would have to find somewhere to live.
China, Russia, India and Brazil would take over.
