I've joined "Geomagnetism" in my PhD course.what r the future prospects for that.Basically I'm a physics student.

I don't understand the question totally. So, in general, Geomagnetism is related to plate tectonics based on the records of the geomagnetic field. It is geophysical prospect. It is related also to the theoritical studies on the magnetic fields of the earth and sun. I hope this help you.
